Hi there, I’m Alaia – a Business Systems Strategist and Organizer. I help businesses run more efficiently and effectively. How do I do that? I identify and eliminate time sucks and money wasters in your business. In their place, I develop systems, workflows and automations that help you create and maintain an organized business. With over a dozen years of experience organizing (I started out organizing homes and offices before moving on to systems and back end operations), I’m adept at cutting the fluff and implementing streamlined systems that work for you.
I am an entrepreneur, procrastinatrix, community cultivator, and lifelong learner. I speak and write about business and networking, Los Angeles and whatever other topics strike my fancy (they will likely involve food, music, or books). I love technology and social media, but one of my favorite things is connecting with people through events and gatherings.
If you ask my clients what I’ve done for them, the common answer is, “she helps me get things done.” I’ve been called an organizer, strategist, project manager, online business manager and more. No matter what the label, at the heart of it, my goal is to take you from stuck, stalled and struggling with overwhelm and help you get to a place where you can run your business with a greater sense of calm, clarity and confidence.

As the creator of At the Helm (a 1,000 member strong networking group in Los Angeles), Alaia knows first-hand that when people connect in community to learn and grow, their businesses get exactly what they need to thrive. At the Helm has garnered support from Delivering Happiness, HP, GE, Amex OPEN, and The Microsoft Store. Through the annual At the Helm: Women in Biz Conference, Alaia leverages her leadership experience of coordinating over 150 business events that have been attended by thousands of small business owners and professionals to the national forefront. Her passion to serve women business owners has led her to create a national At the Helm meetup tour and launch the At the Helm Podcast in 2013.
Alaia can also be found center stage speaking or training in her areas of expertise. She has spoken at QuickBooks Connect, Ontrapalooza, the West Hollywood Women’s Leadership Conference, Ladies Who Launch, Charles Schwab, Podcast Movement, Raytheon, and more. She has also been featured in two books, Twitter Power and In Belly of the Fail Whale.
Alaia currently resides in Los Angeles, California where she makes seeing Prince in concert a business priority.
