Great Internet Find Alert!
If you work from home (mostly), like I do, at some point or another you've struggled with staying on course. From working on your website and handling your marketing, to writing an ebook or creating stunning graphics – sometimes it can be hard to focus!
I've tried a variety of things – working at the library, checking out co-working spaces, getting an office, and crafting perfect playlists at home. Libraries can be a bit too quiet and Starbucks at lunch time with blenders going non-stop is…well…annoying!
Enter Coffitivity!
Apps will be coming soon but, for now, you can get access to Coffitivity on the web. The site gives you the ambient sounds of a coffee shop (I have yet to hear any blenders) wherever you might be. I've enjoyed the site from home without any of my SUPER AWESOME playlists, but you can also play your tunes simultaneously. I'm a music addict, but sometimes it can be distracting. Coffitivity is my new work must-have when I want to block out the sounds of home or add a bit of liveliness to the library.
With the tagline “enough noise to work,” I think the team behind this is onto something great. I can't wait to download the app when it gets released.
Give Coffitivity a try and tell me what you think!
I can't take credit for this find – my friend Ericka, the Social Change Diva, brought this to my attention. Thanks Ericka!
