Get it Done Day: March 2018

Get it Done Days are a chance to get out of the house, meet other entrepreneurs, freelancers and small business owners – but also get some work done!

The first one of 2018 will be on Friday, March 16, 2018 from 1pm-5pm and offered at the special price of $10.

Our semi-flexible agenda:

• 1:00-1:30 – Introductions, goal/intention setting (what will you accomplish today?)
• 1:30-2:30 – work time
• 230-2:45 – Stretch break, check-in and feedback
• 2:45-3:45 – work time
• 3:45-4:00 – Stretch break, check-in and feedback
• 4:00-5:00 – work time

Flexible schedule? Want to wait out traffic? There are several places within walking distance for us to enjoy happy hour/early dinner together for continued networking after our work is through. Totally optional, but fun!

FAQ

Why would I come to Get it Done Day when I can work at home or my office?

It’s nice to get away from home sometimes – and have other people as a sounding board for our ideas and plans. Get it Done Day is ideal for those of us who don’t want to be trapped in the silo of working at home. First off, it’s a change of scenery. Second, you’ll have the chance to network and meet new people. Third, you can get focused laser targeted feedback (if you so choose) about what you’re working on. You can’t always get that at home.

What should I work on?

Work on anything you want! Marketing content, your book, planning your next launch – the choice is yours. This first one is on a Friday, so this is also a great chance to push through any last minute communications, follow ups or deadlines and plan for the week ahead in a focused environment. While there are some quiet spaces where you can step away to make a phone call, if you need to be on the phone for a majority of our time together, this is likely not ideal for you (at least not on this day!)

What should I bring?

Whatever you need to get your work done. Laptop, notepad, writing instruments – its up to you! We’ll provide drinks, wifi and snacks. You can also bring additional snacks or lunch with you.
