What’s New: Top of 2015 Update

Ah! 2015 is here. I'm feeling good – how about you?

Part of what's got me feeling so good about the year is that I feel like I have a sense of direction. At the end of 2014, I created a goal planning guide for my At the Helm community. I'm happy to say, I tested it on myself (and another small group of people) and it was ridiculous helpful! Creating the guide and working through it really helped me determine what I want to focus on in 2015. Check it out if you're still unclear about your goals for the year. This year, I'm also preparing to be consistent with my email updates. I still don't plan to send a ton of emails, but I am bursting at the seams with things to share with my community of business owners, entrepreneurs and freelancers. I can't begin to tell you how many great new tools and systems I've discovered over the last year that have had a great impact on my business. Each month, I'll also be giving something away to one of my subscribers – it might be one of my favorite things or one-on-one help from me. I considered running giveaways or social media promotions, but that seems daunting. I'd rather just share with the people who continue to invite me into their inbox space. Here on my blog, I plan to keep sharing helpful info and resources, but I'm going to do something a little new –  sharing occasional “behind the scenes” looks at the systems I use and stuff I love so that you can get to know me better, but also figure out how to use some of these things to improve your own work life.

I'll be kicking off the year with a series on planning – and it will include a look at the DIY planner I created myself last week.

On the fun side, I'm continuing to podcast like a fiend. The At the Helm Podcast is back for Season 2 and the pop culture podcast that I co-host, 18 to 49, is back after a quick holiday break. Sometimes I fantasize about having a third show…but that might just be a pipe dream!

Other fun things are coming soon and I'll be sure to reveal them as they become more of a reality.
